Ben Kozij Receives an Outstanding Award

St John’s would like to specially congratulate, Year 11 student Ben Kozij for winning the District Governor’s Excellence in Service Award. Ben was nominated for the award due to his outstanding service to both the Leo’s and Lion’s Club. On Wednesday, 28 October Ben was presented the award by the Governor of the Q3 Region, Rodd Chignell.

For the past four years, Ben has participated in a variety of activities which include fundraising for charities such as Love and Care, the Heart Foundation and the Lion’s Mobility. Ben is also actively involved in a campaign called Adopt a Road, which entails removing rubbish from the local community streets.

As president of the Leo’s Club, Ben dedicates a high volume of his time to the group. Once again congratulations Ben, this is an outstanding achievement.
