Jazz Night

Jazz Night

Join us for an elegant evening of JAZZ performed by St John’s Performing Arts staff and students. This wonderful night will be held in the St John’s Performing Arts Centre Foyer on Thursday, 19 September from 7:00pm.

Dress to impress in BLACK AND WHITE theme. Tickets are $20 per person or you can book a table of 8.

Light refreshments will be on each table for the evening, cash bar and the FOTA Kiosk will also be available for purchases on the night.

Crazy Sock Walk-a-Thon

Date: September 20, 2019

Time: 8.45-10.30am

Location: Primary Campus

Crazy Sock Walk-a-Thon

The annual Primary Walk-a-Thon will take place on Friday 20 September. It’s a fun outdoor activity for our Kindy to Year Six students which this year will raise money towards the St John’s Educational Sporting Program.

Students are encouraged to wear their sports uniform with brightly coloured, crazy socks. Please note that uniform rules regarding socks and appropriate hairstyles only will be relaxed for the day.

Three courses will be run on the day; one for Kindy (2 laps), one for Prep to Year Two students (5 laps) and one for Year Three to Year Six students (10 laps)

All Primary students will participate in the walk-a-Thon whether they have obtained sponsorship or not.

At the end of the walk, Kindy children will be given a fruit juice popper or bottled water, and students in Prep to Year Six will be given a frozen icy pole.

This event is organised by our Parents and Friends Association (P&F), and Friends of the School (FOS) Committee.

Come and experience the ‘St John’s Way’ at our Kindergarten Open Day on Saturday 12 October. Let your child engage with our expert and nurturing educators, as they explore our indoor and outdoor spaces. Our learning environments are designed to spark curiosity, ignite imaginations and build confidence.

At St John’s Kindergarten, we allow each child’s curiosity and creativity to flourish. Our Kindergarten provides the perfect balance of child-led inquiry, purposeful play and lots of fun in a caring and nurturing environment.

You are invited to arrive, park and register at the St John’s Primary Campus, Alpine Place, Forest Lake.

Join us for our P-12 Open Day on Wednesday 16 October for an authentic look at a day in the life of a St John’s student. Come and experience the ‘St John’s Way’.

Principal’s Tour of the College will commence at 9.15am and 11.15am.

St John’s is a place for the development of the mind, for innovation and creativity, for inspiration and wellbeing and for nurturing the spirit. During our Open Day you will tour our beautiful campuses and facilities, speak with our Principal and Teachers about our curriculum, culture and what it means to be part of the St John’s community.

Old Collegians’ Reunion

SAVE THE DATE!!! Class of 2018, 2014, 2009, partners, staff and past staff are invited to join us for drinks and canapés on Saturday 19 October 2019 for your One, Five and Ten Year Reunions.

The event will take place at the iconic Regatta Hotel, 543 Coronation Drive, Toowong QLD 4066 from 6.00pm till late!

Tickets are $20.00 per person which includes a 2 hour drinks and food package. Partners welcome! Please ensure that you register with any dietary requirements by Friday 11 October 2019. Come back and catch up with peers and teachers on the night!
