Students Set to Attend Florida for The Conrad Spirit of Innovation Challenge
We are confident that by now you have shared in the excitement about six team of St John’s students who have been invited to the Kennedy Space Centre, Florida as diplomats in The Conrad Spirit of Innovation Challenge. The students have been selected as finalists in the International Science, Engineering and Entrepreneurship competition. Did you also know that this is the second year in a row students from St John’s have been invited?
Although this is exciting news we now have the challenge of raising funds in order to cover the costs to allow the students to travel to NASA for seven days in April 2016, to compete in the next stage of the competition. To help finance the trip for the 26 students attending we have created a Crowd Funding project through which we are aiming to raise a total of $5000.
