The Old Collegians’ Association – It’s Official
Wednesday 9 March marked a significant milestone in the history of the Old Collegians’ fraternity with the first official meeting of the Old Collegians’ Association at St John’s Secondary campus library.
Graduates from as far back as the year 2000 to the more recent graduates of 2014 came along to support the Association and this exciting event.
The energy, enthusiasm and commitment from the attendees was evident on the night stimulating lively discussion and creative outcomes for the future of the Association.
The Executive was formed with Zach Raftery being nominated and accepting the position of President of the Association. Zach said “the Old Collegians’ Association is an important link between the past, present and future of the College. Our primary goal is to remain connected with current Old Collegians’ and investigate new ways to connect with Old Collegians’”.
While some committee positions are yet to be filled, the Association is looking forward to a fantastic year ahead with the management of the Old Collegians’ bar at the 2016 College Carnival and other new initiatives.
