Year 3 calling deep space…..

15.6.2015

This morning, students in Year 3W learned many new things about space! The more students have learned about the Solar System this term, the more questions they have had. As their teacher, Mrs Wilson, is not an expert on all things Space, she contacted the Canberra Deep Space Communication Centre. The team there were

happy to oblige and a Skype call was set up. Some of the topics discussed this morning included how planets and stars are formed, the importance of gravity and how black holes are formed. Students in 3W are now on their way to becoming Space experts themselves!
