St John’s Student Performs with The Ballet Theatre of Queensland
Recently St John’s student Emily, was involved in the Production, Aladdin with the Ballet Theatre of Queensland (BTQ). Emily auditioned in March last year and soon after was selected. To her excitement she then began rehearsals in May 2015.
Emily was involved in six performances which ran from Wednesday, 20 January until Saturday 23 January 2016 at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC).
The Ballet Theatre of Queensland (BTQ) is Australia’s oldest continuing classical ballet company and is known as Queensland’s premier youth ballet company.
Emily has shown true determination, endurance and strength over the last nine months which is very inspiring. St John’s is very proud of Emily’s achievement and we look forward to hearing all of the wonderful stories from her experience.
