College Fees
Domestic Fees
St John’s tuition fees include the provision of tuition, careers counselling, pastoral care, compulsory incursions and excursions, use of library and sports equipment and facilities, science laboratories and equipment and class sets.
Additional requirements, not covered in these fees, may include uniforms, the elective music program, bus transport to and from the College, photos, courses run by external providers, school-based apprenticeships, etc.
Levies
General Levy
This covers the povision of a student ID card and lock (replacements will incur additional charges). Also included are subscriptions to educational software such as Education Perfect and Literacy Pro, plus the Year 9 Rite Journey program and Junior School stationery.
Camp Levy
Attendance at the outdoor educational program is compulsory and the camp levy covers the cost of accommodation, food, transport, and the program provider fee. This levy is charged in Term One for all year levels.
IT Levy
All students in Years 3 to 12 are required to participate in St John’s Laptop Program which provides the following benefits:
- An education grade laptop setup for use on the College network with extended manufacturer’s warranty
- Licensing and installation of required software applications, including cyber
- Insurance cover for accidental damage at home and (Some exceptions apply).
- Comprehensive maintenance package with onsite technical
Music Levy
Students from Years 3 to 7 are required to participate in the St John’s Music Program. The College will supply the musical instruments to new students and the levy is designed to assist with insurance and tuition costs.
Other Fees and Charges
Private Music Lessons and Tutorials
Students electing to study an instrument in and out of school time will be required to pay a fee equivalent to standard instrumental lesson rates.

All students participating in Private Instrumental Music or Theory Lessons will be charged at the end of each term.
Foundation Building Fund
An opportunity for families to support the future capital development of the College through a contribution to the Foundation Building Fund. It is only through generous support from our families that quality learning environments can be enhanced for improved educational outcomes for our students. A suggested termly contribution of $200 per family is greatly appreciated and fully tax deductible. This suggestion will be included on the fee statement emailed to you before the start of each term. Should you prefer not to participate in this program, please simply deduct the suggested contribution from the total shown on your fee statement. This has not been added to your fee account and any funds received will be transferred directly to the St John’s Anglican College Foundation.
