Sports Centre
The completion of the redevelopment of St John’s Sports Centre at the Secondary School in July 2020 marks an important milestone in the history of the College.
This modern facility has been constructed in and around the pre-existing open-air sports courts known as The Dome, originally installed in 2009. It has been architecturally designed to harmonise with the local natural environment and to complement existing structures at the College.
As a home for the St John’s Dragons, this centre is utilised for our student health and physical education classes, sports training and matches, as well as providing opportunities for the wider Forest Lake community and sporting organisations to benefit and enjoy. With a large undercover terrace to enjoy weekend sporting fixtures on the sporting oval and tennis courts, this new centre provides the best sporting opportunities for our students now and in the future.

Sports Centre Seat Naming Campaign
Early in 2021, the St John’s Foundation will embark on a new project offering our families the opportunity to dedicate a seat in the Sports Centre Seat Naming Campaign. With a limited number of seats available, families will be encouraged to purchase their dedication early to not miss out.
