Performing Arts Scholarships
St John’s Performing Arts Centre of Excellence offers a diverse range of opportunities for high-achieving students in vocal and instrumental pursuits. The purpose-built Auditorium, drama rooms, and recording studio provide fantastic opportunities for St John’s students to rehearse and perform, forge industry links, and host national and international performances. Performing Arts scholarships are audition-based. Shortlisted applicants will be invited, together with their families, for an interview with the Principal or their delegate. Performing Arts scholarships are awarded based on the audition, portfolio review, and interview. Scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of the Principal.
Eligibility and Conditions
Scholarships will be reviewed each semester and are subject to continued excellence in academic performance and adherence to the College policies and procedures. The awarding and continuation of a scholarship is at the discretion of the Principal.
Scholarships are for students commencing Years 7 and 10 and provide part remission of tuition fees, with a maximum offer of 75%. Scholarships are available to Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Prerequisite
Applicants, who are not currently enrolled or attending St John’s, must complete the St John’s Anglican College Online Enrolment Application including payment of the non-refundable Application Fee before applying for a scholarship.
