Welcome from our Principal

I am privileged to lead this community and warmly welcome you to St John’s Anglican College.

Here, we acknowledge the partnership we have with parents and believe that every child is an individual with unique talents and that they all have the ability to learn. As educators, it is our responsibility to nurture and develop every child to prepare them for life in a globally-connected world. At St John’s we do this through the delivery of an exciting, joyful and innovative learning experience and a range of programs that prepare our students by developing capability, collaboration and strong disciplined characters. Learners at St John’s are continually encouraged to appreciate our international community and care for others by becoming global citizens and develop a concern and active respect for the environment.

Our College’s values align with my own personal values, including the importance of faith, hope, courage, and a sense of community. In fact, courage is what sets St John’s apart from other schools. As a parent, I understand first-hand what it means to raise children as part of a global community. Our curriculum emphasises the acquisition of wisdom, understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, preparing learners to take their productive place as leaders in the international community.

I encourage you to visit and experience St John’s for yourself. Take a tour of our campuses, and talk with our students and you will begin to appreciate their unique insights, talents and perspectives. I’m confident that you’ll be as impressed as I am, by their respect and kindness, as well as their intellectual curiosity and concern for this world they’ll one day help to shape and lead.
