Scholarship and Bursaries
St John’s Anglican College offers a small number of Scholarships for excellence in Academic, Sporting or Performing Arts pursuits each year. Registrations for St John’s scholarship program for students entering Years 7 to 10 in 2022 will open in November 2020. Full details on scholarship criteria, how to apply and key scholarship dates will be made available shortly.
Scholarship holders are expected to maintain development in their area of expertise, represent the College as appropriate, always participate fully in all College programs and uphold the College values and expectations.
Scholarships are only available to students who are Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
These Scholarships are not means-tested with the Academic scholarships being awarded based on results of the Edutest Scholarship Exam.
Scholarships will be reviewed each semester and are subject to continued excellence in academic performance and adherence to the College policies and procedures. Recipients will be required to maintain the equivalent of B grade and to participate in the College’s co-curricular program. The awarding and continuation of a Scholarship is at the discretion of the Principal.
Scholarships apply to tuition fees only and does not cover general uniforms, textbooks, stationery, extracurricular activities, camps, etc. Please click here to view our 2020 fee schedule.

St John’s also offers a limited number of Bursaries – part remission of fees for one year – to students who meet the standards set out for each individual scholarship category.
These Bursaries are to assist students who would greatly benefit from a St John’s Anglican College education, but who, without financial aid, would be unable to attend.
Bursaries are granted for 1 year with the understanding that the student will register for and sit the Scholarship test the following year or resubmit a Bursary Application Form.
Bursary applications are means-tested, and the financial needs of the family will be taken into consideration. Bursaries are allocated at the discretion of the Principal.
