Early Years Conference 2023

August 15, 2023 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

UNDERSTANDING GENERATION ALPHA

Practical strategies to empower educators in developing the social and emotional wellbeing of young children.

As early childhood educators, we frequently face diverse challenges in our day-to-day interactions with children. While we may respond effectively to some of their needs, we often struggle to understand their needs and actions at other times. St John’s has collaborated with a group of Allied Health providers and Early Years Teachers to share their expert advice and insights. This collaboration aims to equip us with the tools to empower our children to reach their full potential, understand their needs and actions, and build positive relationships.

This is a full-day professional development session is suitable for Early Childhood Educators (aimed at Kindergarten to Year Two), School Leaders, School Support Staff, Tutors, Home-School Educators and Special Needs Educators.

This is a chance to attend a keynote address and valuable hands-on workshop, where you can acquire practical strategies from Allied Health professionals that can be used in the classroom. Included in the ticket price is an additional session with Keynote Speaker, Dr Cam McDonald.
