Old Collegian International Success

Fri, 28/08/2020Posted by:

Old Collegian Chloe DeNys (Class of 2016) last year embarked on a once in a lifetime opportunity to study Chemical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin – Madison where she received full credits in her degree on her semester-long exchange. It wasn’t all study as she spent her spare time at college football, hockey and basketball games as well as travelling to many amazing destinations.

Chloe wanted a new challenge by commencing a Chemical and Biological Engineering Degree and a Biomedical Science Degree at The University of Queensland. Chloe aims to transition into a PhD in the field of Tissue Engineering which focuses on developing functional biological tissue from 3D scaffold-type constructs to replace or repair damaged tissue.  Chloe has also recently begun an internship at the UQ School of Dentistry with the potential of an academic publication by the time she graduates.

At the end of her degree, Chloe aims to travel to Europe to work in different research groups to advance her skills further. Congratulations Chloe what an achievement. We look forward to hearing of your future successes! #oldcollegian  #peopleofinfluence
