Looking at taking the steps towards a career in Show Biz?

Old Collegian Rowan Chapman (class of 2005) created an online career longevity resource for all aspiring, young actors, full of survival tips of how to cope with the pressures of the Australian acting industry.

Launched last month #TheLongHaul offers advice from over 150 professionals with the industry on graduation from drama school, working with casting directors, producers and agents and maintaining professional relationships.

Since graduating from the College, Rowan went on to complete the QUT Acting Program and was awarded the Jennifer Blocksidge Memorial Scholarship which provides the opportunity to fund a project to benefit the wider acting community across Australia.

Rowan has appeared in projects such as Peter Rabbit 2, Les Norton and A place to Call Home. Rowan wants nothing more than young actors to succeed and love their job, offering his services as an industry mentor to any student/s who are thinking of going down this career path and hopes this resource of #TheLongHaul can add to the conversation and breaking down of stigma.

Congratulations Rowan!!!
