Student Commissioning and Scholars Presentation

Today, the St John’s community celebrated our 2020 student leaders as well as our Year 12 cohort on being formally appointed to their role of leaders of the College. We wish our Seniors all the success for the year ahead and look forward to the contributions they will make.

We were also delighted to welcome back Old Collegians’ from the class of 2019 to recognise the outstanding academic results of our OP 1-5 recipients. In the final year of the OP, our Year 12 cohort achieved the highest percentage of OP 1-15 in the history of the College, with OP 1-2 results second highest. Thank you to 2019 Dux of the College, Miss Lily Freestone for her inspirational words of “breathe, take a break and remind yourself you are doing well”.

This was also a lovely opportunity to congratulate our 2020 Scholarship recipients in areas of academics, sport and performing arts.
